Acceptance of terms By accessing or using ScrollLaunch (www.scrolllaunch.com) (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by ScrollLaunch. You must be at least 13 years old and capable of entering a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account. ## 2. Accounts & authentication Accounts are created through Google OAuth (via NextAuth). You are responsible for safeguarding the provider account you sign in with and for all activity under your ScrollLaunch account. - One person or legal entity may maintain an account. - Provide accurate information (display name, maker profile, product details). - Notify us at kalash@scrolllaunch.com of any unauthorised use. ## 3. Acceptable use You may not: - Submit content you do not own or have permission to publish. - Submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful material (malware, phishing, scams, doxxing, hateful content, sexually explicit content involving minors, gambling without a licence, unlicensed financial services). - Manipulate upvotes, reviews, comments, rankings, or analytics - including coordinated inauthentic behaviour, bot rings, disposable-email voting, or fake/duplicate accounts. - Spam discussion: post URLs/links in comments, copy-paste promotional comments across products, solicit rival directories or paid placements in comments, or farm engagement. - Scrape the Service in a way that materially impairs other users or our infrastructure (we serve a public sitemap, llms.txt, and machine-readable APIs precisely so you don't need to scrape). - Reverse engineer the Service or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls. We may remove listings or comments, reset manipulated upvotes, revoke backlinks/badges/placements, and permanently purge an account (deleting associated products, comments, votes, visits, notifications, and sessions) without refund. Where practical we email a short reason. ## 4. Maker content & licence Product listings, comments (including nested replies), and other content you submit ("Maker Content") remain yours. By submitting, you grant ScrollLaunch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, cache, index, summarise, and create text/markdown representations of the Maker Content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You also acknowledge that public Maker Content is intentionally crawlable and may be ingested by third-party search engines, AI crawlers, and content aggregators. ## 4a. Comments & discussion Signed-in users may comment and reply to any comment on a live product page. Comments are public Maker Content shown with your display name and profile image. - **No links:** comments may not contain URLs, www hosts, bare domains, or markdown/hyperlink markup. Submissions that include them are rejected; notification emails strip or neutralise URL-like text. - **No spam/promotion:** no bulk or templated promo comments, rival-directory solicitation, or coordinated fake discussion. - We may remove comments and purge the posting account under Acceptable use and Termination. ## 5. Paid features Premium ($19), Premium+, ad placements, directory plans, and newsletter sponsorship are paid via Dodo Payments. Card data never touches our servers. Pricing is in USD; taxes (where applicable) may be added at checkout. AI-generated content (Premium+) The Premium+ AI launch story is generated by an AI model from your live website + product details. We make a good-faith effort to ground the article on facts but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy. By publishing it you confirm that the underlying product information is true, you have the right to publish the cited material, and you accept editorial responsibility for the post once it appears on [/blog](https://www.scrolllaunch.com/blog). The article includes dofollow backlinks to your website; competitor mentions are nofollow. ## 7. Intellectual property ScrollLaunch, the logo, the leaderboard, the badge SVG endpoint, and the Service code are owned by ScrollLaunch. You may embed the official ScrollLaunch badge on your own site (we publish a copy-paste snippet) but you may not imply sponsorship or endorsement beyond the badge's literal claim ("Featured on ScrollLaunch", "Top 5 of the Week", etc.). ## 8. Backlinks & SEO For each live product, the canonical outbound surface is the product detail page (/products/[slug]). Premium and Premium+ pass a dofollow link from that page. Free listings stay dofollow only while a ScrollLaunch badge (or a link to that product page) remains on the maker's website; we re-check periodically and switch the link to nofollow if the badge is missing. The listing stays live either way. Discovery surfaces (homepage feed, archive, and similar) may use nofollow. Additional dofollow links appear only where purchased (Premium+ AI product blogs; paid ad placements) - see [/pricing](https://www.scrolllaunch.com/pricing). We do not guarantee DR, crawl frequency, indexing, or traffic. Comments must not be used to plant outbound links. ## 9. Service availability We provide the Service on an "as is" / "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, throughput, indexing speed by external search engines, or specific Domain Rating gains for backlinks we issue. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScrollLaunch disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ## 10. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScrollLaunch's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost goodwill, or loss of data. ## 11. Termination You may delete your account from dashboard settings (or by emailing kalash@scrolllaunch.com). Deletion removes your account and associated personal data we control - products, comments, votes, notifications, and sessions - subject to the [Privacy Policy](https://www.scrolllaunch.com/privacy) retention rules. We may suspend or permanently purge accounts that violate these Terms, spam comments, manipulate upvotes, charge back paid features, or expose us to legal risk; where practical we email a short reason. ## 12. Affiliate / partner program ScrollLaunch operates an optional affiliate program at [/affiliates](https://www.scrolllaunch.com/affiliates). Tracking, applications, and payouts are handled by Affonso (https://scrolllaunch.affonso.io). By applying you also accept that provider's partner terms. - **Approval:** we may accept, reject, suspend, or terminate partners at our sole discretion (including for spam, brand bidding, cookie stuffing, or self-referral). - **Commission:** 30% one-time on attributed Dodo Payments checkouts for Premium, Premium+, ads, directory plans, and newsletter sponsorship. Free launches pay $0. - **Cookie window:** first-party `affonso_referral` cookie for 30 days after a visit via `?atp=`. Governing law & disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Rajasthan, India. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law. ## 15. Changes We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
