## About Intertakt

Most interval timers interrupt the one thing they exist for. Intertakt is built the other way round, like a fog signal: the horn sounds its interval over whatever the sea is doing, and ships run by it with the horizon gone. Voice and beep cues call every round over your own playlist at independent volumes, so the screen can stay dark and the phone face-down from the first beep to the last. A call mid-workout costs nothing: sessions survive calls and app switches, with explicit resume to the exact second.

Built for HIIT, Tabata, EMOM, boxing rounds and office circuit workouts. 0 ads · ∞ sessions · 0 accounts. Free tier: unlimited workouts. Premium: one-time purchase, no subscription (unlimited custom plans, history, JSON export). Flutter, offline-first. intertakt.com

## Overview

### Who is it for?

HIIT and Tabata athletes, EMOM and boxing people, coaches running circuit classes, office workout groups

### Problem

Every interval timer competes with your workout for the same screen and the same speaker: ads mid-round, cues that duck or pause your music, sessions that reset when a call comes in. Put the phone face-down or in a pocket and the timer goes blind. You end up watching the clock instead of doing the work.

### Solution

Intertakt keeps time by ear, not by eye. Voice and beep cues ride over your own music at independent volumes, so nothing pauses and nobody looks at a screen. Sessions survive incoming calls and app switches and resume to the exact second. The free tier covers unlimited workouts, with no ads and no account required.

### What makes it unique

It works with the screen off. That one constraint drives everything else: cues and music at separate volumes, incoming calls handled as pauses rather than resets, zero ads, and a one-time Premium purchase instead of a subscription. Built with Flutter, offline-first.
