## About TC Sniper

TCSniper is a trading card price tracker and deal finder for sports card and Pokémon collectors. It centers on a curated catalog of roughly 3,000 of the most-traded cards, built from the top 500 cards in each of six categories: basketball, football, baseball, hockey, soccer, and Pokémon. Cards are ranked by sales volume, so the catalog reflects what collectors are actually buying rather than an unfiltered dump of every card ever printed.

Every card in the catalog carries market values broken out by condition and grade. Instead of a single price, TCSniper shows separate values for raw (ungraded) copies, PSA 9, and PSA 10, which lets a collector see how much a grade is worth on a given card before buying or submitting for grading. These per-grade values update as the market moves.

The deal finder is the core of the product. For each card, TCSniper compares the lowest current eBay asking price against its own market value for the matching grade, then labels the listing as a good deal, fair, or overpriced. This turns a scattered eBay search into a single verdict: whether a specific listing is priced below, at, or above what the card is actually worth. Collectors browsing the catalog can jump straight to the flagged eBay listings.

Because most price sources show only a current number, TCSniper builds its own price history. It records a daily snapshot of every tracked card and charts that history on each card's detail page, so users can see how a card's value has trended over weeks and months rather than guessing from a single data point.

TCSniper also includes a personal collection feature. A user can add the cards they own, specify grade and quantity, and enter what they paid. The tool then values the collection against current market prices and reports total value, cost basis, and gain or loss, along with a chart of the collection's value over time. A watchlist lets users follow specific cards and see deal signals on them in one place.
