## About FlatLyne

FlatLyne monitors your scheduled jobs and alerts you when they fail to run. Ideal for developers and operations teams, it integrates easily with your existing cron jobs. Just add a single line to your job, and if the ping doesn’t arrive on time, you’ll receive an alert via email, Slack, PagerDuty, or webhook.

Setting up FlatLyne takes just minutes. Create a check, add a cron expression, and start receiving notifications for missed pings. Whether you're managing database backups, Kubernetes CronJobs, or SSL certificate renewals, FlatLyne ensures you’re informed of any issues before they escalate.

## Overview

### Who is it for?

Developers and ops teams needing job monitoring.

### Problem

FlatLyne addresses the issue of missed scheduled jobs, which can lead to data loss or downtime. It ensures you are notified immediately if a job fails to run as expected.

### Solution

By adding a simple ping to your scheduled job, FlatLyne tracks the job's execution. If the ping is not received within the grace period, it sends alerts through your preferred channels, allowing you to take action quickly.

### What makes it unique

FlatLyne stands out by offering a straightforward setup with multiple alert channels. It provides a free tier for individual users and scalable options for teams, ensuring that you only pay when you need more features.
