# What is Nofollow?

A nofollow link tells crawlers not to treat the link as an endorsement. The rel attribute usually includes nofollow, and often ugc or sponsored.

ScrollLaunch uses nofollow on discovery surfaces such as the homepage feed so the product page stays the one dofollow URL per launch.
